Lets hear your love for West Lothian Bike Library
Hi David,
My son loves attending the bike library. It has increased his exercise levels greatly whilst being a whole lot of fun too. In addition his confidence has really increased both practically and emotionally as he’s much more able to engage with tasks on the bike and with friends there too.

When I first looked into re-establishing cycling in our school, David and the team were more than happy to provide training to ensure our staff could maintain our trikes and
repair minor faults if they occurred. They also gave our fleet of trikes a thorough assessment and completed any repairs that were necessary. In addition to this, David
helped us to secure grant funding for further adapted trikes in order to ensure all of our pupils had access to the experience of cycling. They were crucial in helping us to
find an appropriate wheelchair trike and supported us through the process of purchasing this and putting it into use

The West Lothian Bike Library has been an invaluable resource for the pupils at Ogilvie School Campus. This school caters for pupils with severe and complex learning disabilities, many of whom would not have access to a bike or have the opportunities to learn cycling skills elsewhere. West Lothian Bike Library has supported us with gaining funds for new bikes and trikes for the pupils here, as well as training and supporting staff with the delivery of Bikeability courses, to help pupils increase their confidence with cycle skills.
